Moulay Bousselham Beach

The seaside village of Moulay Bousselham is located 70 km north of the town of Kenitra and 35 km south of Larache. The village is bordered, on one side by the Atlantic façade, and on the other by the Laguna de Merja Zerga. Moulay Bousselham bears the name of his Saint buried between the coast and the lagoon, and whose tomb is visited by thousands of Moroccans each summer, during the moussem that is organized by the local authorities. Moulay Bousselham is primarily a tourist area, a property that is attributed to its beautiful beach, its camping center, and to its lakes and lagoons. With its natural lakes and breath-taking landscapes, the region of Rabat is ideal for excursions. About twenty kilometers from Rabat, lies the lake of of Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah dam formed by the reservoir of Bouregreg . The place is ideal for hiking. The region also offers a strong tourism potential thanks to the diversity and richness of the forest ecosystems that enable the development of ecotourism.
