The small gate opens onto the southern end of Bouiba Street, which is a continuation of Sidi Fateh Street in the Medina of Rabat. Its name comes from the fact that its arch was so low that a tall man could not go through it without bending down. It is a simple straight gate flanked by two massive towers. It is an Alawite gate made by Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah in the 18th century.
